The South sound Leather Alliance believes in community. We strive to create opportunities for both education and socialization. Through our efforts we have created 3 monthly munch events. Each with its own flavor and goals
3rd Tuesday 6:30 to 8:30
Denny's - 5924 6th Ave, Tacoma
The SSLA Monthly munch is an opportunity for our membership and interested parties to get together and socialize. This is a topic discussion social event with a different topic each month. Feel free to come out and join us and get to know who and what the SSLA is all about. This is a more advanced topic munch though everyone 18+ is welcome to join us.
The topic discussion starts around 7:15 after everyone's orders have arrived. We hold a open but facilitated discussion to keep on topic and allow for those with more experience to share on the topic.
The meeting is held in the back room. Dress is casual public. Eating dinner is not required.
1st Saturday 7 PM - 8:30 PM
Round Table Pizza - South Tacoma, 7921 S Hosmer St, Ste A, Tacoma
The Tacoma Newbie Munch is hosted once a month on the first Saturday. It's open to all adults interested in learning in a relaxed atmosphere geared toward beginners to the kink and BDSM community or new people to the Tacoma Area. We cover a cycle of 8 to 12 rotating topics presented by identified leaders in the community. This monthly event is designed to help people get introduced to Leather and kink as a lifestyle. It is also a way to meet others in the community. We suggest that you also attend some of our other events to help you get a feel for what and how we do things.
The meeting is held in the large room to the right as you enter. Dress is casual public. Eating dinner is not required. Please be mindful of the restaurant as it is family friendly.
2nd & 4th Thursday 6:30 PM - 8 PM
Join folks from the local kink and leather communities as we gather together for some great conversation over a good cup of joe (or tea, or wine, or beer, or...)
Meet new folks, catch up with old friends, share information, techniques, skills, and the like. It is also a good way to find out about local events, parties, or just grow your own personal network. No guided discussions, no presentations, just relaxed conversation with some great folks.
This event is held in a coffee shop. Though it is open to the public we tend to have the place taken over. Dress is casual public. Eating dinner is not required.
NOTE: this is not a topic discussion group if this is your first time attending please say hello to our host Sir Doug so he can make you feel welcome.
